I took up indoor Cycling today... and loved it!

So I am currently on a personal journey to find inner peace and happiness. I’m not a hippie lol, actually I work in technology and accounting. But I’m 21 and the last few months was stressed a lot and not taking care of my mental, physical or emotional health. I’ve tried losing weight and even joined a gym but was having a hard time staying consistent as I was commuting two hours to work and two and a half back.

I’ll start by saying- yes, I did move closer. I live 8 minutes from work now. Is this what it’s like to have a life lol??

I really wanted to join a cycling studio after taking a fun cycling class while in Paris last you and guys- ITS SO FUN! It’s hard work for sure, my butt hurts, but I needed a cardio that I wouldn’t get bored of and I loved this one.

If you are looking for fun intense cardio, I recommend cycling classes for sure. Joining a studio can be a little expensive but if you love it I think it’s worth it- the cheapest I found was Cyclebar. They are AWESOME. They are nice and while at least the one I went to didn’t really have a full locker room, the classes weren’t lacking at all. It’s about $130 a month for unlimited classes and they are really nice and have an app that tracks the data from your bike so you know how many visits you do/ calories you burn. To put it in perspective, I believe SoulCycle is like $300 a month AT LEAST.

Just wanted to give some insight if you are near a decent cycling studio! It’s so fun!
