How do I get over the "clean your plate" mentality?

I was raised to eat everything I was given on my plate. I am sitting here in the lunchroom of my work, eating a lunch that I didn't even pay for. I plan on only eating half, as I am doing cico to lose weight, and I feel this TERRIBLE guilt about not finishing it. I waffle about whether to save the other half and eat it another day, because I can't stand the thought of just throwing it out. Am I crazy?! I do this at home too with left overs and it drives my husband crazy because most of the time I do eat it, but sometimes it just sits and grows mold. I know I shouldnt feel bad about tossing food but I also cant help myself. Any ideas how to overcome this? It's a problem! Lol
