Today marks our first week since we started working towards June 1st! Here are some things that stink:
I have not lost much if any weight.
I have not ate under my calories every day.
BUT....
My scale is frozen! I may not have lost any weight this week but I didn't gain any either! I feel great! I actually have energy in the morning! I have even started working out TWICE a day! If you guys knew me before I started any of this I NEVER worked out more than once a day. I just have the energy and desire to do it, so I have been. My second workout is nowhere near as intense as my first but after supper I get a short workout in and it has made a world of difference this week.
I know having 7 days in after today some of you, like me, want results! We want to see the scale plummet with our success. We want to see our faces thin out and our bellies shrink, but hopefully we all know that patience truly is a virtue and this process takes time. We can however, celebrate FREEZING the scale!
So let's make a list today of ALL the ways we are freezing the scale!
I have way more energy than before I started.
I am no longer bloated and tired all the time.
I am exercising way more than I used to AND doing it with my family! (I feel like that's a double win!)
I love posting each day and hearing about your successes!
I am happier!
This last one is a biggie for me because I think all any of us really want over being thin, or muscular, or rich, is to be happy. It may be corny but it reminds me of that 90's Sheryl Crow song "Soak up the Sun" where she sings "It's not having what you want, It's wanting what you've got"
