I'm about 9 days in to dieting and I'm starting at 264 pounds (6'0" male). Before calorie counting I didn't realize how much I ate just to... eat, lol. Like it was out of boredom or something. I decided to change my mindset and eat filling foods instead of snacking all day, and oatmeal has been gracious to me, I can actually stay well under my calorie budget! The hardest part for me right now though is cutting out sugar, but last night I learned how to make ice cream from a frozen banana and I'm just waiting for a bunch I bought to ripen because it was so good. I dunno why I'm posting this, I guess just to share how my start is going, and because I can't really talk to this about this to anyone other than my boyfriend, who is starting to calorie count too!
(P.S. Do y'all know of any other foods that are pretty filling?)
