Since I started CICO in mid January, I went from eating 2500+ calories a day to less than 1500. I was going strong for the first two weeks with cooking leaner proteins and more vegetables. Today, I fell off my healthy streak and ate 4000 calories, half from a Panda Express bowl and half from a generous dinner with dessert. I'll probably be over my maintenance TDEE for the week since I am making a huge Chinese New Year dinner tomorrow.
And I feel okay. I feel fuller than I would have liked, but I'm glad I managed to go so long before I broke my streak. How long have you gone without breaking their CICO goal?
