Turning down junk food

I started orientation at a new job today and they provided us lunch. It was Jimmy John's boxed lunch; turkey, ham, or veggie sub option. I got the veggie option even though Turkey is my favorite because I'm cutting back from processed deli meats in general.

Inside the box is the sub, chips, and a cookie! A TRIPLE CHOCOLATE CHUNK COOKIE! My favorite cookie! And somehow I just immediately offered them to the person next to me with no hesitation.

I guess my brain is finally starting to recognize what's good for me and I'm not having to fight so hard to eat healthier as I'm making these decisions more easily now. Thank goodness because 2 months ago I would have gobbled up that cookie and chips without a care in the world.
