So, I don't often feel full. Honestly, I don't often feel anything. Around January first, I started try to eat a very whole food diet, and guess what? For the first time in a looooong time, I have felt both the feeling of hunger, and the feeling of fullness! I was able to eat until full, and often had leftovers after meals, which I later snacked on if I got hungry again! This lasted about three or four days.
Then, I made a mistake. My partner really wanted some chips, and the bags were 2/$5.00, so naturally I had to get two bags. Plus some chocolate, because treat yoself. However, I ended up eating a full bag of chips, and two bars of chocolate over two days, along with not exactly healthy meals. I shouldn't have gotten them, and now I know better for next time.
However, I'm back to not being able to feel either hunger, or fullness again. Yesterday, I didn't eat until I got home from classes, at 1:30 pm, and had some leftover rice casserole, and soup that needed to be eaten. This was probably a solid three cups of food, and yet afterwards, I wasn't full. Before I had eaten, I wasn't hungry either though. I didn't really feel anything in my stomach, and I think I mistook that for hunger. I just figured it was a good time to eat because it was 1:30, and I hadn't eaten since dinner the previous night.
I'm disappointed in myself because I was doing well, and I sabotaged myself.
The cool thing, however, is that tomorrow is a new day, and I can go back to eating right.
