Starting to make improvements

At the beginning of last year, I weighed 330 lbs at 6"2; I barely ever exercised and had a poor diet. Halfway through 2018 I moved away to university and decided I would walk to classes to help build cardio, my job was also very menial so I used a lot of muscles in the course of a workday; It was hard to do the first 3 months and I basically walked into class sweating most days. As the year ended, I went home and went in for a routine physical and when they weighed me, i was still at 330. I thought I'd failed and that I was always going to be fat. But I noticed something, I went down 2 pant sizes and a shirt size, and even though I still weighed 330 I was able to run and jog for reasonable amounts of time. My chest went from fat to rock solid and my sides went away. I'm probably still 290+ but I know that I'm making progress, and the people around me are noticing too. Sometimes change can take months, even years, before you notice. But as you make progress you won't even notice the changes until suddenly your pants are too big or that 15 minute walk only takes 10 minutes now. Don't give up on yourselves, we deserve better.
