Hi loseit do you have some diet/cooking advice for me? I eat around 1200 calories at a TDEE of just under 1700. My protein goal is 116g a day and I don't think I've ever met it even once. I have some standards that I love eating and fit my modest calorie budget - mainly low fat high protein dairy like Skyr and cottage cheese, tuna cans, chicken breasts and eggs. I add at least one of those to every single meal I'm eating. With one additional protein shake I might reach 90g on a good day. I don't know how people do it. I can't stomach more than a certain amount of those high protein foods. Even if I force myself I can't get more than 20-30 g of protein per meal into me, it makes me feel nauseous after a point. Unfortunately I hate eating sweet things, so all those protein powder baking recipes out there are not for me. I could just down one more disgustingly sweet protein shake per day and be done with it. But I wish it was at least a semblance of real food. Do you have any ideas on how to sneak more protein into my cooking? Like when people blend cauliflower into their pasta sauce to feed it to kids? :) Or a portable snack for throughout the day?
