First time poster!
I loosely started my journey to a happier, healthier life right after Christmas. I didn't really take CICO to seriously the first two weeks and lost 5 pounds (SW:240). I decided I wanted to also start getting active and signed up at good life. In the two weeks since I have signed up I have went to the gym 4 times per week. Doing cardio on the treadmill and stair-master, after cardio I generally do about 30 minutes of weight lifting; and other days I will just do an hour long class like Body Pump, or Body Attack.
Well, this Saturday I went to the gym and before my body pump class I wanted to weight myself to see my progress. I was so shocked and saddened to see I had actually put back on those 5 pounds I lost :-( I am honestly feeling so discouraged, I do not know what I am doing wrong. I eat about 1290 kCal a day, and I track this on MFP. I am always under on my carb intake and over my fat intake (not sure if this is the issue, I eat a lot of avocado and snack on nuts throughout the day). I have not been doing so great with my water intake, I drink maybe 1.5 liters a day on average, but I am trying to get up to 3 liters.
Any helpful tips and hints would be super appreciated!
