Record Body Measurements to keep you positive during plateaus.

I increased my cardio by an hour yesterday, doubling my typical calories burned in a day, and my weight showed it this morning. It went UP 2.6lbs. Thankfully, after reading yesterday's PSA on increased weight due to increased exercise (shout-out to u/NorthernSparrow) I'm not freaking out, but it was still a hit to my mental momentum. Then I remembered that I recorded my starting measurements for moments just like this, so I took my measurements again. I'm down 5.5 inches across my body! I saw decreases in almost every area that I measured! My motivation is back to 100%, and I'm getting ready to lace up my sneakers and head to the gym with my head held high.
