[Warning: This could be a trigger for some people]
I don't know where else to turn. My sister is chronically obese. She has had a stomach bypass but is like an alcoholic for food. She will not stop eating. She eats wedges of cheese, acres of crisps/chips, pies, sweets and sugary drink at all times of day and night.
She has broken her leg because she is so heavy and she still can't stop.
She is in complete denial and if you raise it she just starts screaming or crying. She wants everyone's sympathy but no accountability. She is forcing her elderly parents to dress her because of her weight and she can't stop eating.
I feel for her but she is killing not only herself but my parents too. How do we break the cycle with someone who is in denial and killing herself. She refuses to take a diabetes test and insists she isn't diabetic despite sugar making her sleeping. She is only 40 and will probably die in 10 years if not before. I think she is trying to commit suicide. How can I help?
