Make better bad decisions

My job requires me to do a lot of networking and attend a lot of schmoozing events - not very conducive to meal planning and prepping. I do everything in my power to mitigate potential diet derailment, but sometimes it's just unavoidable.

My solution - make better bad decisions.

For example, tonight's event is open bar. Instead of having two glasses of red wine for nearly 250 calories (5 ounce glass, Apothic Red), I'll have two Jack and Diet for 120 calories. Should we fail miserably in our plan and have to order pizza, we will go for thin crust with no extra cheese. No other option but fast food - go for the kids meal.

Just because straying is sometimes necessary, it doesn't mean that the entire day is shot. 100 calories over is a lot better than 500.
