At the start of January I decided enough was enough and as a 26 y/o 5 foot 7inches female weighing 267lbs I thought 2019 would be my year. I joined the gym, I got a Fitbit and I started logging everything meticulously.
The first week I lost 8lbs. I thought that was great because it was the water weight and then the rest would come off gradually. I've been swimming three times a week and started to walk quite a bit more. My calories have consistently came in about 1100 per day (not deliberate, I've been trying to up to about 1400 a day but I'm just not hungry).
I haven't lost any more weight in the two weeks since losing my initial 8lbs. I have to admit I am seeing changes in my body, my waist is getting a lot more toned and I feel my shoulders and collar bones a bit more but the weight on the scales is really demotivating me.
I found I put on the most of my weight after getting the contraceptive implant - might this be preventing the weight coming off again? If anyone has any tips please do let me know.
