Alcohol strangely enough has been a great distraction from my depression. No other drugs have ever done it for me.
However I have been trying to stop recently. I used to drink 4-5 nights a week, and would drink on average 5-10 drinks. (Say a glass of wine or a 330ml beer being one)
I’ve just started pulling back, 1-2 nights a week but aiming for only one night of binge drinking/ partying with friends. Should I try cut out completely?
It got much worse after I broke up with my ex, and have noticed a slight weight gain. If you look at me side on, my belly is kinda there. More so than my girlfriends. I have massive boobs, E cup... and my belly sometimes goes past them when I’m bloated. Weird info but yeah.
My BMI is 25. I’m 163cm tall and weight 67 kgs. Reckon I’ll lose weight if I persist with no alcohol? Also; what are your benefits you’ve noticed if you’ve stopped drinking? Can anyone relate to a young female who has been binge drinking since she was 16?
Not sure where to post this. Hope it’s right. I just really wanna look and feel healthy again. I’m in a happier place now and it’s just habit.
