To the people who’ve lost and fluctuated to get there, how long were your fluctuation periods?

So to be real I’m f/5’ 6’/31, and in March i was 252 lbs. I steadily lost until September, when I was 220 lbs. I quit paying attention, oh and started managing a bakery 🙄. I just stepped on the scale because I know that I’ve gained and haven’t had to courage to check it. 236 lbs. So i guess my real question is, these fantastic posts about losing weight where people mention fluctuations, does that mean while they’re still trying or if they slip up a day or few weeks? Just looking for motivation. I’m really disappointed in myself.

I know things that need to be done and they sound simple. I want to know that I’m not alone and that I really CAN do it, with delicious treats in my face EVERYDAY.
