Missing food in my mouth and the action of eating

I’m currently sitting at 198.8lbs. I’ve never been this low before.

I’m a 24 yr old female, 5’7.5 and am hoping to get to 188lbs by March 1st and 140lbs by 2020. I’ve been over weight for all my life.

Eating at 1500 calories a day keeps me full. However, it’s getting hard because I miss eating. I miss chewing more. And I miss having food more often. I didn’t realize food took up such a large part of my life.

I know it will take time to adjust before this becomes my new normal it’s just extremely hard and I’ve never felt anything like this before. It a very weird feeling.

The other night I looked at food porn to satisfy me missing the feel and smell of food and it worked.

The night before I bought a jar of pickles and had 3 (30cals) and that helped me feel better, having food in my mouth.

I’m sooo determined to get to my goal this year but this is really testing me lol has anyone ever felt the same? What was your experience and what helped?

EDIT:

-Gum makes me gassy and hungry - I drink a lot of water and 0 cal drinks, and tea...maybe I need to drink more? - sometimes I’ll try mints
