Fell off the wagon, time to get back on

The title says it all. I was working on my emotional eating and doing well for a bit, and then I had grad school applications due, issues with getting a visa, blah, blah, blah, and I started binge eating again. No counting calories in MFP. Being “too tired” to go to the gym. Really it was all the typical things I would make excuses for because I kept telling myself it was just “one day” and I would “start again tomorrow”. This just reinforced those behaviors I was trying so hard to break, and I fell into old patterns once again. It’s frustrating. I’m ashamed.

It’s hard. I know tomorrow is a new day, it’s a fresh start, but I need some motivational help. I don’t know what it is, but honestly sometimes I find it hard motivating myself because I feel like I’m never going to be able to make a change, and I’m worried what people will say/how they will react if I do make a change. It isn’t a healthy way of thinking, and I know I’ll stay unhappy if I don’t start taking some really good care of myself.

I don’t know if any of you have any sort of motivation tricks or kind words of encouragement to share, but anything would be greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow is a new day, and I’m ready to start again.
