Anxious to return to the gym after not going for a while

In November I joined a gym near my work office so I can work out on my lunch break which works for me. I started going a few times a week, nothing too full on, as a way to ease my way in.

The problem is recently for the past 2/3 weeks I haven’t been going for one reason or another and now I’m finally in the mindset where I’m ready to go back.

However I’m extremely nervous that when I go back people, specifically staff, may make comments about the fact I disappeared for a bit. I’m a very shy person and know I have no real reason to feel nervous, so how do you psych yourself up to get back into the gym and go for it without focusing on any negatives or fears? Thanks in advance!
