I'm 4mths postpartum with my 3rd kiddo. Before I had kids, I was 119lbs @ 5'3". I got up to 150lbs after my first, then up to 183lbs after my second. I got severely sick with this last pregnancy, I had Hyperamisis Gravadaram and at 26wks found out I had a gallbladder impaction. I went super lowfat (10g or less per meal of fat, every 3hrs).
I ended my pregnancy at 146lbs after finally gaining ~7lbs the last trimester. I had my gallbladder removed 2wks postpartum and am able to for the most part eat normally again. Some food gives me stomach aches or gas but I'm watching and learning what those foods are.
My problem is that around 2wks ago I noticed that I'm gaining weight fast again, even though I walk my kids to school and back everyday and nurse. I though the says was that the fat just falls off when you're nursing?
I have no idea what is safe or not diet-wise when it comes to nursing. I know that I need to start exercising more, and cutting sugar out. I don't drink and don't smoke so those aren't issues.
Any advice and resources are welcome and appreciated!
