Post- menopausal women, any suggestions?

I am a post-menopausal woman and I am needing to lose about 30 pounds. I am seeing a doctor and doing exactly as told and I feel I am doing everything right. Tracking every calorie, every gram of protein, cardio, strength training etc.. in the past I would have lost all the weight I needed to in the last several months in the time I have been doing this stuff. This time I have lost 5 pounds in the last 3 months. What the hell does it take for a woman who is through menopause to lose weight other than an act of God because it just doesn't seem to work no matter what I do or how hard I try. Any suggestions?
