I'm posting for my 50 year old mom who wants to lose weight.

Hi! I am posting for my mom who has been yo-yo dieting for years and years.

She recently mentioned that she was wanting to make a change and to lose weight.

She said that weight watchers seemed like a good place to start because "my friends are doing it and say it's really easy to count just points." I immediately thought of the multi-billion dollar company with distaste and told her that it was stupid because it wouldn't teach her long term sustainable eating habits. I feel bad because I was quick to tell her that it was a dumb idea.

I tried to explain a little bit about intermediate fasting as an option for her but she was worried about stomach problems so didn't like the idea.

So, if there's any tips or advice for her I will be sure to pass it along to her.

Thanks!
