How many of you have lost/regained weight before?

What is the statistic? Around 90% of dieters that lose weight put it back on? I'm curious to hear from the loseit community's weightloss/weight gain stories.

I don't have access to a scale anymore so I don't know my exact weight but I am around my goal. I still haven't been eating at maintenance because I'm scared of gaining and I like to indulge in the occassional cheat days. I am still cycling through binging and then restricting but less frequently. Even if I feel in control of my eating habits right now, I am worried that in the future (when life becomes more stressful) I will revert back to old habits.

For those of you who regained the weight, what wasn't sustainable or what caused the change? How much did you lose and regain and in how much time?

For those who have been able to maintain, what strategies have been most helpful in staying on track? How long have you been maintaining for?
