Hi all! Final day of my trip so I'll be resuming a more stable posting schedule tomorrow. Thanks you all for bearing with me the past few days. It's been a good trip; I think having my real life support network around me has been good for hitting the mental reset button after a rough few weeks. I just really hope that I'm able to come home at Christmas and say that I have a job offer. Last night was a blast hanging out working on the puzzle with my mom and godmother while the men were watching football and we finished the puzzle this morning! I also may currently be leading in the number of Mario Kart races I have won against my husband on the new Switch :D This morning we went out for a brunch double date with my niece and her boyfriend and it was lovely. She's a junior in college now and it's wonderful to start to be able to relate to her on an adult-to-adult level even if it still doesn't seem possible that she's old enough to legally order a mimosa with brunch :D I still remember at Thanksgiving when she was a baby her older brother saying that he was thankful for "(niece's name)'s smelly diapers".
Weight: Ugh, I am terrified of facing the scale tomorrow morning
Calories: Definitely too many. My stomach was actually pretty unsettled last night after tacos for dinner because I'm no longer used to eating this much or so much heavy food.
Steps: Got to charge that fitbit tonight. Definitely lost my Fitbit challenges this week!
Gratitude: Today I am thankful for planes. As much of a hassle as flying is, it makes visiting distant family and friends so much more manageable
Your turn! Hope you all had a good final day of the weekend and are ready to take on Monday.
