Went on vacation, hurt my knee, and now I'm struggling to stay on the wagon

I was down 17 pounds in about 2 months, and then I went on vacation over a long weekend. Lots of late nights traveling and drinking more than I should have. I also wasn't super closely counting calories, which I think was my main mistake, though I was still trying to be conscious of what I was eating. I figured the increased caloric intake was slightly offset by me hiking and swimming and generally being pretty active throughout the day. I had gained 3 pounds when I weighed myself, but it seems to have been mostly water weight, as all but about half a pound came off within a couple days of returning home and being back on calorie counting.

So, come this weekend, I had to cancel my normal weekend hike because of a bum knee. Meal prep and being lazy today and I feel like I'm falling off the wagon. I'm still within my calorie limit (actually a couple hundred under), but I feel fat and heavy and just generally gross, and I feel like I've somehow actually gotten bigger, even though the scale says I'm 16.5 pounds down. This is normally the point where I would give up and just say what's the point, I've always been fat, and I'm always going to be fat. I don't want to do that this time. But I'm really, really struggling not to.
