Thanks everyone, I reached my goal weight today

Hi everyone, thanks so much for your help. Between late June and today, I dropped from 237 pounds to 210 pounds. 210 has been my goal weight for about 5 years, and no matter what I did, I just couldn't reach it, or even make steady progress towards it. I just steadily gained weight over the last 5 years. And there is no way I would have reached my goals without cico or this sub. So thank you very much. If anyone out there is reading my post and is unsure of whether to start cico, please do it. It worked for me when nothing else would. My advice to you is to get a good food scale, know exactly how many calories you are consuming( don't guess), and find low calorie foods that are also filling( watermelon and cauliflower are my favorites). Also, don't try and starve yourself. Its simply not sustainable, just eat to your target calories and let cico do the rest.

My timing was really good too. I hit my goal weight today and I'm leaving to go on a week long beach vacation with friends tomorrow. So ill be enjoying good food and drinks for a week while I put cico on hold. Then after I get back, in gonna go into maintenence mode with myfitnesspal and cico.
