Stepped on the scales today...

I've had it in my head for the past two years that I'm a certain weight. As far as I could tell, I hadn't been eating or drinking much worse, I still fit into all my ultra baggy clothes, and I hadn't gained any weight. Boy, was I wrong. I stepped on the scales today to discover that in reality I'm 2 stone (28 lbs) heavier than I thought.

With that shocker, I've decided to take control. As of right now, I'm going to treat myself properly and look after myself. That means eating well and exercising a hell of a lot more, as well as other things not directly related to weight loss.

All in all I hope to lose around 4 stone (56 lbs) minimum. I don't care how long it takes, but I aim to lose around a pound a week in order to keep it achievable and sustainable. I know what I have to do in order to lose weight, I've tried countless times in the past but self-sabotage or laziness always got in the way.

As some background for you guys; I'm a 21 year old female born and raised in England, I'm at university right now, and I've had weight issues since I was around 14. Wish me luck because I really need it!
