So along my journey I encounted tons of lazy days. I usually workout 5 days/week. I do a mix of weighys yoga and cardio.
I wanted to share something that has worked for me mentally speaking
If i’m not in the mood one day. I used to say : Oh i don’t feel like working out one hour. I’ll let it for tomorrow
And it’s WRONG
INSTEAD, i ‘please’ both my lazyness and my motivation, i go like: ‘ ok i don’t workout 1 hour, I’ll just to the warmup then i’ll stop’
Or ‘ i’ll just do 20 mins of lazy walking on the treadmill then i’ll stop’
Doing something is way better than doing nothing !
And in the end I don’t workout 1 hour as I ‘promissed’ to my lazyness, but I work more than I proposed in the first place. Because ‘if I’m here anyway then let’s do this’.
It helped me so damn much! There is no day without me doung something, being active
But I also had lazy weeks!!! For a week i just did 20 mins ‘just to be done’. I didn’t push so hard. But that’s ok. We are not made to be ‘monsters’ and being motivated to workout like crazy daily. Not everyone can do this everyday.
So instead of skipping the entire workout, just pick the easiest things you can do and go for them! You will still not make 100% of the wokout but you’ll be a winner for doing something!
I hope it will help you too! Never give up
