Picture was the eye opening moment and last straw

Not sure if this is the place to post this, but here we go!

I've been a bigger guy most of my life. Ever since I was a kid, in fact. Once I got to college, I ended up losing over a hundred pounds, and actually got to the point where I was what most people would call "skinny." It was honestly such a great feeling. I felt more comfortable with myself, I dressed exactly how I wanted to, and was just all around happy. The regular exercise definitely helped, and eventually I exercised so much that I ate whatever I wanted and didn't worry about it. But, that was years ago. And since then it's all come back. I kept thinking to myself "well, I'm older now so I carry it better - it doesn't look that bad." Maybe. But tonight I went out to a concert with some friends, and we took a picture together afterwards. Looking at the picture when I got home honestly appalled me. I had no idea I looked like THAT. Worst part is, I know it's all my fault. I drink beer regularly. I eat out too much. I don't exercise - I wrote it all off as not having enough time to do that stuff, because grad school. But not anymore. This is the last straw. Starting tomorrow (it's after midnight here) the diet and exercise regiment that I once had comes back. The internet as my witness, I will slim down and be comfortable with myself once again!
