I hear a lot about running shoes.. but what about walking/standing shoes.

So my quest to cure my heel pain continues, and i've finally decided to get compression socks (Not sure which kind) and also new shoes, now everyone says you cannot use running shoes for just walking/standing and I guess thats true, but seriously, what are some good standing/walking shoes for days where i'll walk 9k+ steps in 6-8 hours, or sometimes just stand still for that long, I need something to try, and there is a lot of mixed info, i'm 320 llbs and obviously thats a big cause of it, but surely there is SOMETHING to lessen this pain so the only thing I dread about work is gone.

Any tips or suggestions super appreciated. I wear new balances right now but they don't really cut it anymore .
