How do you combat stress eating?

To make a long story short, I've had an extremely stressful week and an extremely stressful few months ahead of me. Up until this point things have been fairly relaxed and weight loss has been really, pretty easy.

But over the past few days it's been a constant struggle to resist buying a bag of candy or something just to feel good for a bit. I did slip up for a few days and eat way over my limit. Did some drinking, too.

Yesterday I did a 30 minute free write where I just wrote down everything that popped into my head. Then I went on a long walk. I felt great. though I know this won't always be feasible.

What do you do to combat the desire to eat when you're stressed? Looking for any tips. Thanks for taking the time to read this.
