Couch to 5k?

What are yalls opinion on couch to 5k? im a 280 pound 16 year old at 6"2 currently, i am pretty active and im 100 pounds overweight, not amazingly active i just do stuff here and there and back to the bed i go, im diagnosed with Majord Depressive Disorder,Anxiety,Social Anxiety and panic attack, im puertorico just saying if you need to know that idk, i would just like to know if couch to 5k is a good way to loose weight, my current program or schedule or whatever i do is i brisk walk 1-2 hours per day and i lift im currently starting a new diet wich i will hopefully keep up with and stay with thru my entire weight loss journey, so for diet basically i eat i think its like indian food like rice and stuff, cant eat veggies even if i try (i vomit) so i want to jump straight to using the c25k couch to 5k app and doing lifts plus my diet wich consists of about 1.5k-2k calories intake based diet, any suggestions tips or is this good?
