So I've just recently picked up my healthy lifestyle again. Two years ago I lost 30lbs (and got to my goal weight) and then I gradually gained 35lbs back. I'm getting back on track.
I'm really concerned for my one friend. We met four years ago and while my weight has fluctuated a little.... She's gained a LOT. She was probably about 200lbs when we met... And yesterday I was just looking at her and she's got to be 400lbs now. I want her to be healthier but she still lives at home and her parents buy junk food and she buys pizza and it's just horrible. I went over one time and they told me I had to eat more or I wouldn't be welcome there???
I know she hates how she looks and she knows she's gained so much weight. She's seen the pictures. She hasn't been on a scale in probably years. And she told me yesterday that one of her favorite shirts doesn't fit.
She has a bad ankle but she's taking Alive to help with the pain and she has orthotics. She does walk still but not much and she never takes stairs. Her parents drive her to school half the time so she doesn't even get to walk to the bus stop.
She told me she wants to lose weight but she doesn't like vegetables and she won't log her food in MyFitnessPal. I feel like just logging her food and trying to eat the right amount of calories would get her started right? She doesn't have to exercise necessarily just starting off. I just don't know how to convince her..... I guess she's really embarrassed but so much so she won't even talk to me about it. I just want to help her.
....advice please?
