I’ve been seriously working on losing weight since April of this year (running, low carb during the week, weighlifting, workouts 3-5 times a week) and have finally lost 15 lbs!!! At my heaviest I was 198.7 lb and today I am 183.2 lb. I wish it were quicker but I’ve built a lot of muscle in my arms and legs (I have visible biceps now, yay!) and let myself eat pretty freely on the weekends so I’m ok with the progress since it seems like it will be reasonable to continue this lifestyle once I reach my goal weight.
My first big goal was to have my BMI go from obese to overweight which I’m overjoyed to have reached. My next goal is to get to the 170s and so on, until I’m about 150 lb (so I’ll be at a normal BMI for my height= 5’6).
Seeing everyone’s posts on this sub has really inspired me and I hope I’ll be able to reach my goal weight in the next year -^ good luck to everyone else on their journey!
