want to cut calories to lose weight but have problems with constricting myself

i am f22, 5’ and 127 pounds. i fell into a deep bout of depression while finishing college and stopped being active. i recently joined orange theory (which i love) and want to lose 15 pounds to go back to my in shape weight. i downloaded my fitness pal and the second it sent me a notification to catalogue my dinner, i felt panicky/guilty and immediately deleted the app. i feel like everyone has such great success with CICO but i don’t know how to do it in a healthy way where i’m not obsessively paying attention to how many calories each meal is. does anyone have any advice besides a broad “change my diet?”
