Two months post surgery, today I started!

I have endometriosis and it causes me a significant level of chronic pain and constant fatigue. Two months ago I had my second excision surgery and I’ve finally started to feel like a human person again, but I’ve felt a lot of trepidation about exercising because it’s so easy for me to overdo it and wind up bed bound with excruciating pain for weeks afterwards.

But today - after being cleared by my doctors - I bit the bullet. I put my leggings on and smashed through a Pilates class and a brisk twenty minute walk, and I feel like I’ve climbed a mountain. I feel like I’ve started faced my fear and even though my muscles are sore, I’m on the path to finally being strong and losing the chub and I can’t wait to take another step tomorrow!
