(SV) Finally hit my first goal

I never thought I’d be posting here, lol. Lurked for a long time, struggled with my weight all my life, just could never get anything done. This summer has definitely been a learning experience with what works and what doesn’t, and it’s the longest I’ve ever stuck with losing weight. It paid off yesterday when I (17F, 5’9) realized I’d lost twenty pounds - 230 to 209.8 :) I’m so proud of myself for sticking with it long enough to see real change, and I can’t WAIT to be in the 100’s for what feels like the first time in forever. Question though - I don’t see any physical change in the mirror, is this normal? The only thing I’ve noticed is that there’s muscle under my arm fat now instead of just more fat. Also, this post may not be true when I weigh myself in this morning, haha. Cooked a huge dinner with my grandma last night for the family - I’m talking salads, chicken, potatoes, dinner rolls, pie, the works. Oh well, can’t give up doing/eating everything you love, right? Slow and steady wins the race, with occasional joy along the way :)
