So a few years ago when I was about 50lbs lighter, I went to Six Flags with my then co-workers for the day to have a great time. I am not a huge fan of roller coasters but I wanted to give them a try. So we get on one coaster and I a barely fitting in the seat and the mechanism isn't locking for my over the shoulder harness. This is where in my head I start saying "Oh no...". A female park attendant came over and tried to lock me and couldn't do so. After two agonizing minutes, I started to feel like this was going to be a worst case scenario and I was going to have to get off the ride in front of my friends and the entire line of people waiting behind me. Thankfully, a big burly park attendant came over and slammed the harness shut as hard as he could and managed to lock it, sparing me the mortifying embarrassment. I ended up enjoying that ride so much! That was the only coaster I got on that day, and I spent the rest of the time in the park, mostly alone in the arcade. I want to go back to Six Flags! I want to be skinny enough to go on those coasters and enjoy every single one of them without having to worry if I am going to fit or not! I want to share the experience with my friends! This is one of the many reason as to why I am making better choices and changing my life style.
