I am skinnier than I've been in 7 years, and I am soooo proud of myself

I just want to whoop and shout and shake everyone who will listen, but I don't want to be rude so I'm writing it here! I'm skinnier than I've been in 7 years. Today it finally sunk in, I've reached a new weightloss low, and I am astounded at myself.

When I entered college 8 years ago, I didn't just gain the freshman 15... I gained a whopping freshman 50, all in one year. Some of this was good weight, but much of it was bad. I especially struggled because my whole life up until that point I was on medication whose side effect was suppressing my appetite, and in college the doctors told me I could officially go off of it. I was... hungry. Constantly hungry. Still am, in fact. I had never learned how to eat proportionally because I had never had to before, and my body tried to make up for 18 years of not eating. I felt completely out of control. I was lucky, however, that I was otherwise very active.

Fast forward to this year, and I decide I'm going to take dieting and exercise seriously. After a year of ups and downs, I stepped on the scale the other day and learned the good news !!! I haven't been this thin in a long long long time... and I did it eating whatever I wanted! CICO is the greatest guys, I actually celebrated by getting Taco Bell (hush, give me my comfort food), and I STILL lost a bit of weight the next day, because I used small portions and logged my calories.

Doctor is very happy with the news, and tells me I should aim for 15 pounds more as a stretch goal. It seemed so daunting before, but now I think I can do it.

:D :D :D :D
