Wanting to make better choices, not just lose weight but learn to be healthier in general.

I'm 29 years old, I'd say last time I regularly exercised was in PE in highschool. I've been I guess skinny fat most my life so never saw the need to diet or exercise. However it's catching up with me now in age and after two kids. I'm not looking for a quick fix to lose a crazy amount of weight, I'm wanting to rewire my eating and overall bad habits. I'm 5'6 and roughly 200lbs latime I checked. In the last week I've been cutting back on portions and cutting back on junk for healthier options. If you can can maybe help with suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated. If you have a fave routine or blogs you follow, maybe dieting ideas or general where to start.
