Sharing my progress from last summer to remind myself it's worth it!

I have been overweight since I was a child. I have a really bad metabolism and it literally felt like everything I ate turned to fat. I got tired of that feeling last summer and decided to do something about it. I started eating healthily and exercised 5 times a week, twice a day. The results were a rollercoaster, one day I weighed less, the next day it was more, but in the end, I lost 12 kilograms.

However, then I began my first year at university. It was my first time away from home, first time living in a different country, first time having to cook for myself every day, and I stopped with my weight loss journey. As a result, I eventually gained 6 kilograms back. I recently went to a nutritionist to consult my situation and was told that I have a dangerous amount of visceral fat, and that I need to get rid of it. So I started on the weight loss journey again. The kilograms are slowly going down, but it's hard. Hence I decided to share my progress pictures from last summer to motivate both myself and maybe even some others - I didn't lose much back then, 'just' 12 kilograms, but even that made my old clothes hang on me!

So remember, kids, it doesn't take much for a change to come! Keep at it and persevere. I need to keep reminding myself of that, too, but in the end, it will all be worth it!
