How to lose it when you have an eating disorder?

A combination of depression, physical health issues, going to grad school and just getting older somehow turned into me gaining ~50lbs over the last 6 years. I have also been recovered from a long history of disordered eating for about 5 years. I currently feel really in control of my ED and myself in general (thank you therapy!) but I get nervous about what will happen if I really focus on losing the weight. I'm currently 5'8" 170lbs. I gave up refined sugar and started calorie counting with MyFitnessPal about a month ago and I've already lost 10lbs! However, I can already feel myself being real compulsive about daily weigh ins and obsessing over the number on the scale. I'm worried about it getting worse.

I guess my question is does anyone else on here have a history of eating disorders? How do you manage to lose weight safely and maintain your recovery? Do you have any tips or sage words of wisdom?

Oh and LTL/FTP and all that jazz. Yall rule, thanks for all the inspiration and general badassery.
