Do you ever feel like bingeing just to get it overwith?

I did this today. I felt a binge coming and said "F*k it!" And ate whatever I felt like all day. It's been a long time since my last binge but I feel like I ate less than I usually would during a binge. I'm wondering if it's because I *decided to eat a bunch of food rather than doing it automatically, once my brain was past reason and just wanted to chow. I'm starting to think awareness is 99% of my problem, and maybe even most people's problem. Even if I am choosing to give in to the binge, being aware of my choice still makes a difference.

Just a little mind-babble.
