47lbs lost. About 14lbs to go

A Redditor on the MyFItnessPal sub suggested I post here so here goes. I’ve already had a quick scan and really looking forward to checking out everyone’s stories. In fact, I wish I’d have discovered this sub 18 months ago!

So I’ve lost 47lbs so far with another 14lbs left to lose. I started the journey as my blood pressure was sky high even with medication and I needed to do something about that above everything else. I now get optimal readings all the time and it’s such an amazing feeling. I feel good wearing t-shirts now too which was also one of my aims.

I credit MyFitnessPal with this loss as I’ve tried unsuccessfully for years to get the weight off and calorie counting with that app has really worked for me. I eat more veg, fruit and white meat than I’ve ever done and really don’t feel I’m missing out on anything with the diet. My indulgence is Lindt dark Coconut chocolate! Mmmm recommended for that choccie fix at the end of a tough week!! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Excuse the non-smile/smirk.... I’m not a naturally smiler ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚my weight loss so far...
