Something is stopping me from falling in love.

The thought that love is conditional (which it is), for some reason, turns me off. In my mind, love then is no longer genuine. I know this is wrong, but I feel this way regardless. What does that say about me? Is it that I expect unconditional love? That I feel entitled to love by default? Because of this I feel like I can never let love in, because there will always be this thought in my mind, that she doesn't love me, she only loves what's on the surface, that the love isn't real, even though it's based on the things that make me who I am. Why do I feel this way? I want to forget about all of this, and just let myself fall in love and believe that love, but I can't do it. This thought scares me, and it pops into my mind, and suddenly I'm not in love, and I can't love. It feels like a lie.
