Been a long time lurker on this sub and finally decided today that I would put into practice all that I've read.
I'm almost 28 and I've spent 24 years of my life obese. Those first few years don't count, and then I lost a crap ton of weight after baby numero uno and kept that off for a year before getting preggo with baby numero dos, so hence the 24.
I'm a mom of 3 and I'm married to a man who I'm not sure I want to be married to anymore. It's terrifying considering I've invested 9 years and 3 kids into this thing, but above all my health is my focus now. I want to get health and finish my education (teaching degree) so that I can move forward with my life (with or without my asshat of a husband).
Basically, I'm posting to stay accountable. The goal is to come back in 30 days and be at least 10 lbs down. I'm sticking to 1200 to 1500 cals/day to start. I'm only 5'3 so that's not a massive deficit for me. Currently at 255 lbs and sedentary. Also going to integrate 30 mins daily of walking to help me move more. Wish me luck! Advice is also welcome if you feel there is something super valuable I should know at the start of this journey. Please and thanks!
TLDR: 28, crap marriage, overweight mom finally focused on my health. Posted for accountability.
