With weight lifting and walking (and diet) I've managed to go from 31(.2!)% body fat to 16%. 58lbs of body fat to 26lbs (a 50% reduction). And, here's what I m surprised by... A lean mass of 123 to almost 131.
So okay. Noob recomp and gains. But half of those gains - 4 out of 8 pounds of lean mass - came in the last six months...while losing 15 lbs of fat.
It took me a couple years to do the first half, and only six months to do the second half!
I guess my question is...how best to continue this trend? I would love to continue to cut to like 11-12% to see what I can see. But I don't want to lose any lean mass. I have some loose skin to fill out so I would love to keep what I have and grow more if I can.
At 16% body fat, what's the trick to recomp?
