NSV's during a destination wedding this past week!

This past week my wife and drove to a wedding a few hours away and stayed in a party mansion with a bunch of friends. There was an epic amount of beer, wine, liquor, charcuterie meats, cookies, muffins, cakes, fruit and pizza at the house. One of my buddies in the friend group is a chef and made some amazing breakfasts throughout the week with souffles, tarts and loaded omelets. Plus, the day of the wedding, we went to a local place for brunch and a fancy french place for dinner. It was a perfect opportunity to go completely bananas with my diet and blow my calorie deficit (not to mention sobriety) to kingdom come.

However, I am happy to report that I stuck to my goals of <1500 calories per day and >10k steps per day the entire 5-days we were there. I went to the store and bought the stuff for salads for breakfast (oikos triple zero yogurt pack, 6oz of strawberries/blueberries/blackberries/raspberries, and a protein shake - 320 calories), lunch and dinner (50/50 mixed greens + spinach, cucumbers, kimchi, peppers, broccoli, celery, tuna and avocado - about 400 calories 2x per day) And on the day of the wedding when we went out for brunch and dinner, I limited myself to 2 scrambled eggs, 3 slices of bacon and a bowl of fresh fruit for brunch (~450 calories?) and had roast chicken & asparagus for dinner (~850 calories?) I didn't have a scale so I used the myfitnesspal photo thing to estimate calories for these meals.

More importantly, I went into the week with 131 days of sobriety on my belt and came back with 135 days of sobriety despite going out to multiple bars and vineyards as part of the pre & post wedding shenanigans. It was kinda interesting being sober at a party, which is something I haven't tried in probably 20+ years at this point. I even donated a few bottles of wine, mezcal, Japanese whiskey and Blanton's to the party to get them out of my house.

I came back feeling like I had blown the diet with the day we went to 2 restaurants, and was kinda anxious about stepping on the scale this morning, but I actually lost .2lbs somehow lol

Bonus NSV - I had to get new clothes for the wedding, and was able to go to a mall and find an outfit that actually fit! I haven't been able to shop outside of DXL or men's warehouse since like 2012, so that's pretty cool too!
