I had my thyroid removed back in June. I'm currently struggling to get my numbers under control. My TSH is way too high making me very hypo (hair loss, fatigue, all the fun symptoms). I'm working with my doctor to try and fix that. Before my surgery, I lost 20lbs, since my surgery I've gained 30lbs. My TDEE is coming up as 1778 and I'm trying to cut to 1600 (I honestly really really struggle to eat less than that) and I'm exercising for about one hour per day 5 days per week (30 mins peloton, 30 mins weights). I am sitting most of the day for work but there's not much I can do about that. I've also started adding in 30-minute walks after work. I also walk a lot on the weekends since I live in NYC. I've been doing this for about a month and so far I have not lost a single pound. I am absolutely at my wit's end counting every single thing I eat, exercising consistently, and seeing no results. Is this just because of my hypothyroidism or do I really need to cut more cals?
