How on earth do I lose weight in graduate school?

TL;DR: I lost 60 lbs using CICO, but since starting grad school in the social sciences a few months ago, I've gained over 10 lbs. I'm looking for advice on managing my weight during for the next few years.

What makes it hard is that the food options around my department are terrible. The vending machines and camp store are full of chocolate, chips, and other junk—nothing healthy. Also, I struggle to focus on my reading load without carbs to fuel my brain, and I end up eating more than I should, especially during long study sessions. And it's a long commute to school and back, and I'm so tired at the end of the day and end up eating everything in sight.

I’ve been trying to stick to CICO, but it’s hard to "be okay with being slightly hungry" when it really impacts my ability to work.

Any advice on how to stick to a healthy eating plan while managing stress and a heavy workload would be really appreciated.
